The Evolution of Excellence
Growing out of our sister company Electrical Training Academy in 2023, ETA RTO was established to deliver high-quality, Nationally Accredited Electrotechnology Training Australia-wide. We aren’t just a training center; we are a specialist hub designed to bridge the gap between “knowing the theory” and “mastering the trade.”
While traditional training often feels like a conveyor belt, we operate differently. We break down complex electrical concepts into easy-to-understand, actionable skills, ensuring our results aren’t just “as good” as the old way—they’re better.

Our vision is simple: To forge a safer, more competent generation of electrical professionals. The risk of working with electricity without a deep, practical understanding is high—and the results of a mistake can be catastrophic. Our mission is to provide the sound knowledge and hands-on skill sets that allow students to walk onto any job site with confidence, knowing they can protect themselves, their clients, and their families.

ETA RTO is founded and run by senior electricians with decades of experience in the trenches. We’ve seen it all, done it all, and now we’re here to help you do the same.
Through a commitment to Continuous Improvement and Industry Engagement, our team ensures that every course we deliver is relevant, compliant, and reflects the current best practices of today’s Electrotechnology industry. We don’t just teach from a book; we teach from experience.
Our Mission
The level of risk for any Tradesperson working around electricity without the proper knowledge and skill set is high. If the proper steps are not taken the results can be catastrophic for them and their families. We want to help forge a new generation of Tradies to ensure their safety and the safety of their clients.
We explain and demonstrate the critical skills and knowledge in a way that is easy to understand. Our classes are limited to a maximum of 4 people for most of the UEERL courses, and for the more complicated classes even less – meaning you get more support and individual attention.

What makes ETA RTO different to traditional electrical training & education?
Most RTOs focus on volume. We focus on you.
• Maximum Support: Our REL Class 2 courses are limited to a maximum of 4 people (and even fewer for complex modules).
• Context Over Rote-Learning: It’s easy to memorize bullet points; it’s harder to understand the “why.” We ensure you grasp the big picture so the finer details click into place naturally.
• Immediate Application: Everything we demonstrate is designed to be applied the moment you get back into the field.
